United Military created Military Family Recognition to help preserve those experiences and recognize the people whose support, resilience, and sacrifice are an important part of America's military story.

Who can be nominated?
Nominations may recognize military families and family members whose experiences are connected to the service of a veteran or active-duty service member.
Can I nominate a military spouse?
Yes. Military spouses are an important part of the military community, and their experiences can be submitted for consideration through our nomination process.
Can I nominate my own family?
Yes. You may submit information about your own military family experience for consideration.
Does it cost anything to submit a nomination?
No. There is no cost to submit a nomination to United Military.
Will every nomination be published publicly?
Submission of a nomination does not automatically mean the information will be published. United Military reviews nominations, and appropriate permission should be obtained before personal stories or identifying information are shared publicly.
